Registration Fees – Non-Refundable, New students, 1 time only
The “Registration Fee” is mandatory and must be paid at the time
New Students $35.00 (Students entering group classes for the
first time or returning after (2) years)
Tuition – Non-Refundable, due each semester
Tuition cannot be credited for missed classes. Your tuition
reserves your time, day and guarantees that a teacher will be
available to teach your child for the entire semester. KCYMS cannot
reserve a child’s spot if tuition is not paid in full prior to first
week of class. All payments received after the due date will be
assessed a $ 15 late fee. If an emergency (health issue or death)
occurs in the family, please notify KCYMS as soon as possible.
Material Fees – Non-Refundable, required each semester
This is a semester fee that must be paid at the time of
registration. Material fees are based according to the goals and
objectives of the class program.
Please call at least 24 hours in advance if a student will be
absent. The teacher will then
1 - Call or write concerning the assignment OR
2 - Arrange for the student to participate in another class at a
similar level if available.
No outside food or drinks are allowed in the store or classroom.
Returned check fee –
All returned checks are automatically re-deposited for payment. A
$30 returned check fee will be charged to your account.
Partial tuition refunds or credit for missed classes cannot be
given unless KCYMS has officially cancelled the class. If you class
has been canceled, you will be notified by telephone or mail and
will be given the option to transfer. A minimum of 6 students
must be registered in a class to sufficiently keep a scheduled class
open. Classes with less than 6 students are subject to close.
Students who withdraw from a class must do so in writing or in
person before the 3rd
week of the semester. A withdrawal in
person is strongly recommended. KCYMS reserves the right to partial
refund tuition based on the circumstance. Otherwise, refunds will
not be given.
Photo/ Video Policy
KCYMS reserves the right, and may give permission to its
photographer or outside media, to photograph classes, programs and
participants at all our facilities and properties. Please be aware
that these photos are for promotional purposes and may be used in
future publications and media communications. By participating in
the Music School classes and programs, you consent to the taking and
publication of your photograph for these purposes. If you do not
wish your child or yourself to be photographed or videotaped, please
submit a brief written statement to the school office.
